Course II Yoga Basic II Level (160 ACH) |
Mai Ram Yoga Basic II teacher
Teacher of Yoga Basic II Techniques
The teacher of Mai Ram Yoga Basic II level has a right to teach M.R.Y. nutrition lectures, lectures and practices of shatkarmas, pranayama lectures and special Basic II pranayama techniques, lectures of meditation basics, meditation technique.
This intense course includes Mai Ram Yoga Basic II methodology, intended for M.R.Y. teachers, who are teaching M.R.Y. Basic and Advanced I practices regularly and have their own students.
The teaching program consists of theory lectures and practical classes:
- Theory and practice of shatkarmas, or body cleansing techniques
- Theory and practice of pranayama
- Nutrition lectures
- Theory and practice of meditation basics

Mai Ram Yoga Basic II level teacher
Those, who seek to become M.R.Y. Basic II level teacher must have a valid M.R.Y Basic level certificate. After completing Mai Ram Yoga Basic II level teaching program, one become eligible to take the exams. Having passed the theoretical and practical exams, the teacher receives:
- a certificate, which gives a right to teach classes based on Mai Ram Yoga Basic II level methodology:
- lectures of M.R.Y. nutrition principles,
- lectures and practices of shatkarmas,
- lectures of pranayama and special Basic II pranayama techniques,
- lectures of meditation basics and a special practical meditation technique “Svaroopa-darshana”;
- Teacher’s guide, which contains theory and lectures that are necessary for a M.R.Y. Basic II level teacher;
- Initiation into M.R.Y. Basic II level teacher’s sadhana.

Course III |
- Able to introduce and give an exact definition of the features of Mai Ram Yoga;
- Able to pass on the teaching of Mai Ram Yoga to others, disclosing the knowledge and providing the correct initial understanding of yoga;
- Able to give explanations and answer questions that require special knowledge of the yoga practice;
- Devoting much time to qualitative self-analysis.
The teacher is entitled to teach the M.R.Y. Advanced I method.
Mai Ram Yoga course III teaching programme of body, breath, mind, yoga philosophy, psychology and spiritual knowledge studies consists of integrated yoga methodology that develops the body and the mind in accordance to classical yoga.
Course III Yoga Adhikari subjects:
- studying yogic scriptures;
- developing an ability to reason and act wisely;
- developing control of the mind;
- meditation practice;
- basic course of Sanskrit;
- course of yoga anatomy and physiology;
- asanas of Advanced I level;
- techniques of Advanced I level asana sequences (vinyasas);
- breathing practice.
Those who seek to become Mai Ram Yoga Adhikari, must have Mai Ram Yoga Basic Level certificate. Having completed the Mai Ram Yoga Adhikari course, the teaching programme of advanced teachers, one becomes eligible to take the exams. On passing the exams, the teacher receives:
- a certificate that grants its holder the right to teach Mai Ram Yoga introduction courses, seminars;
- Mai Ram Yoga Adhikari guide;
- “Introduction to Mai Ram Yoga” methodology;
- Sanskrit guide;
- yoga anatomy and physiology guide.

Those who seek to become teachers of Mai Ram Yoga Advanced I asana and pranajama techniques have a right to take a practical exam. Having passed the practical exam, the teacher receives:
- a certificate that grants its holder the right to teach Ram Yoga Advanced I Level methodology (valid until the date written on the certificate);
- Mai Ram Yoga Advanced I Level methodology guide.

Issuing of Mai Ram Yoga Adhikari certificate and its validity
Certificates to be issued:
Yoga Advanced I and M.R.Y. pranayama I
Teacher’s certificate is valid for 24 months, so the teacher is required to pass a periodic attestation, which encourages the improvement of a qualified yoga teacher.
M.R.I.Y.A. announces annual attestations of yoga teachers, during which the teachers take a practical exam, and if they pass, their certificate is extended for another 24 months.
By aiming for an attestation, the yoga teacher confirms his/her aspiration for improvement and he/she receives the right to spread the classical integrated Mai Ram Yoga according to teacher’s certificate level.
Notes:
A valid M.R.Y. Basic certificate is required in order to be able to take the M.R.Y. Adhikari exam.
A consistent M.R.Y. Basic teaching practice is required in order to be able to take the M.R.Y. Advanced I Level exam.

The teacher is entitled to teach the M.R.Y. Advanced II method.
Mai Ram Yoga course IV teaching programme of body, breath, mind, yoga philosophy, psychology and spiritual knowledge studies consists of integrated yoga methodology that develops the body and the mind in accordance to classical yoga.
Course IV Yoga Uttara Adhikari subjects:
- studying yogic scriptures;
- developing the intellect;
- developing control of the mind;
- self-observation and analysis of the mind activity;
- a deeper meditation practice;
- a course of Sanskrit;
- course of yoga anatomy and physiology;
- asanas of Advanced II level;
- techniques of Advanced II level asana sequences (vinyasas);
- complex breathing practice;
Having passed the theoretical M.R.Y. Uttara Adhikari exam, one receives a diploma and a right to teach yoga introduction courses, Mai Ram Yoga Kriya meditation practice, lectures, seminars.
Those who seek to become Mai Ram Yoga Uttara Adhikari, must have Mai Ram Yoga Adhikari certificate. Having completed the Mai Ram Yoga Uttara Adhikari teachers’ course, one becomes eligible to take the exams. On passing the exams, the teacher receives:
- a certificate that grants its holder the right to teach Mai Ram Yoga introduction courses, lectures, seminars;
- Mai Ram Yoga Uttara Adhikari guide;
- Mai Ram Yoga Kriya guide of meditation practice system;
- Sanskrit guide;
Those who seek to become teachers of Mai Ram Yoga Advanced II asana and pranayama techniques, having completed the teaching programme, have a right to take a practical exam. Having passed the practical exam, the teacher receives:
- a certificate that grants its holder the right to teach Ram Yoga Advanced II Level methodology (valid until the date written on the certificate);
- Mai Ram Yoga Advanced II Level methodology guide.

Mai Ram Yoga Master asanas and pranayamas:
The teacher is entitled to teach the M.R.Y. Master method.
Mai Ram Yoga course V teaching programme of body, breath, mind, yoga philosophy, psychology and spiritual knowledge studies consists of integrated yoga methodology that develops the body and the mind in accordance to classical yoga.
Course V Yoga Acharya subjects:
- studying yogic scriptures;
- studying Sanskrit;
- meditation practice;
- Master level asanas;
- Master level techniques of asana sequences (vinyasas);
- complex breathing practices;
- concentration;
- long-term self-observation in asana.
M.R.Y. Acharya degree is given when necessary qualities of a spiritual yoga teacher have been acquired.
M.R.Y. Acharya can develop the yoga teaching, teach M.R.Y. introduction courses, lectures, meditation practice, lead seminars, satsangs.
Those who seek to become teachers of Mai Ram Yoga Master asana and pranayama, having completed the teaching programme, have a right to take a practical exam. Having passed the practical exam, the teacher receives:
- a certificate that grants its holder the right to teach Ram Yoga Master Level methodology (valid until the date written on the certificate);
- Mai Ram Yoga Master Level methodology guide.

Mai Ram Yoga teacher training courses and retreats
The purpose of yoga teacher courses and retreats is to become familiar with Mai Ram Yoga, deepen the teachers’ knowledge and practice.
The preparatory courses and retreats for yoga teachers include:
yoga philosophy and psychology, studies of yoga scriptures, Sanskrit, deepening of meditation practice, improving asana and pranayama techniques of various levels.
